As Labor Day weekend approaches, end of summer celebrations are top of mind. Whether you’re planning a backyard barbecue or a small gathering with friends and family, a refreshing drink is in order! If you’re looking to avoid alcohol, mixing up a spirit-free CBD drink is a much healthier option, plus it won’t leave you with a hangover.
To celebrate summer flavors, this Strawberry Mint CBD Spritz is both refreshing and simple to create. Requiring only a few ingredients, you can easily mix up a batch in less than five minutes. To infuse this drink with CBD, I recommend using Care By Design Hemp “Relief” Sublingual Drops, which is the perfect addition to enhance this summer spritz. To combine the CBD oil into the drink properly, gently stir it in using a bar spoon, then muddle with the other ingredients so it doesn’t separate out. Top with club soda, add a dash of Angostura bitters, then add the festive garnishes. This CBD beverage recipe is best enjoyed during those long and hot end of summer days when you’re looking to stay hydrated!

Strawberry Mint CBD Spritz
Servings: 1 drink
Target Dose: 24 mg blend of CBD and CBDa per drink (using Care By Design Hemp “Relief” Sublingual Drops)
Blender or food processor
Stemless wine glass
2 large strawberries
½ ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons strawberry purée
½ ounce agave nectar
1 dropperful Care By Design Hemp “Relief” Sublingual Drops (or your preferred dose)
4 mint leaves
Dash of Angostura aromatic bitters
Strawberry chunks, mint sprig, and edible flowers to garnish
Hull the strawberries, then cut them into quarters. Place the strawberry slices in the bottom of a blender or food processor. Add the lime juice, then purée on high until smooth and creamy. Empty into a small Mason jar, then set aside.
In a stemless wine glass, add the strawberry purée, agave nectar, and Care By Design Hemp “Relief” Drops. Stir together well using a bar spoon, then add the mint leaves. Gently muddle the ingredients together to release the aromatic mint oils. Fill the glass with fresh ice. Top with club soda, then add a dash of Angostura aromatic bitters to enhance the drink’s profile. Stir to combine, then add the strawberry chunks, a mint sprig, and edible flowers to garnish. Serve and enjoy!
