Cranberry & Cream CBD Popsicles

During the holidays, cranberries are one of my all-time favorite ingredients to cook with. Because of their distinct tartness, they provide a perfect balance to both sweet and salty flavors, plus exhibit a beautiful red hue that compliments this festive time of year.


While there are many, many ways to prepare cranberries, one of my new favorite recipes is creating Cranberry & Cream Popsicles. Made with a blend of the season’s most celebrated flavors including cranberry, mandarin, cinnamon, and vanilla, combined with relaxing CBD-infused cannabis honey, these delicious pops will keep the good vibes flowing all winter long. 


Even though frozen popsicles might seem too chilly to eat during this time of year, these pops are best when enjoyed nestled next to a cozy fire or mixed into a festive aperitif topped with Prosecco. Sweet yet tart, these popsicles are also surprisingly healthy. Instead of using sugar, I’ve incorporated honey into this recipe, which acts as a fantastic alternative to add sweetness while providing many healing properties that can benefit the body. 


As one of the most powerful antioxidants, cranberries also outrank almost every fruit and vegetable, protecting your cells against free radicals. Both CBD and THC act as powerful antioxidants as well—even more powerful than vitamin C and E! When combined together, this supercharged dessert is the perfect frosty treat to celebrate the season with.

Cranberry & Cream CBD Popsicles



Yield: 6 - 8 popsicles



CBD-Infused Cranberry Sauce

⅓ cup honey 

½ cup orange juice

½ cup water

12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed

pinch of sea salt 

1 cinnamon stick

2 pieces mandarin peel

2 tablespoons CBD-infused cannabis honey (or Potli Hemp-Infused Honey)

- ½ cup orange juice (to add before blending)


Yogurt Cream 

- 1 cup Greek vanilla yogurt 

- ¼ cup coconut milk 



Begin by assembling the CBD-infused cranberry sauce for the popsicles. Using a small saucepan, combine honey, orange juice, and water. Begin to stir together over medium heat. Next, add the cranberries, cinnamon stick, and mandarin peel, plus a pinch of sea salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently. Continue to cook the cranberry sauce for about 10 minutes (or until most of the cranberries have popped), then add the CBD-infused cannabis honey. Continue to heat and stir for another 2 minutes or until well combined. Be aware that the consistency of the sauce will appear soupier than a traditional cranberry sauce, but this is the texture you’re going for when creating these popsicles. Remove from heat, discard the cinnamon stick, and then transfer to a bowl. Refrigerate for up to 30 minutes to chill down thoroughly.


As the cranberries are cooling, prepare the yogurt cream. In a blender, combine the Greek vanilla yogurt with coconut milk. Purée for 20 seconds. Transfer the yogurt cream into a separate container and set aside. 


Once the CBD-infused cranberry sauce has cooled down, add it into a blender with 1/2 cup orange juice. Purée for 35 seconds until the mixture is smooth and liquefied.


Using popsicle molds, begin to pour the CBD-infused cranberry sauce into each mold. Make sure you distribute the sauce evenly since this is the infused portion of the popsicle! Remember, when you’re crafting infused foods, consistency and precision is key. 


Finally, top with the yogurt cream and add the popsicle sticks. Place the molds into the freezer and chill overnight. The following day, remove the popsicles from each mold and enjoy immediately.


Note: To make the Cranberry & Cream Popsicle aperitif, simply add the popsicles to a wine glass and top with Prosecco or your favorite bubbly. Cheers!
