Candy Cane White Hot CBD Chocolate


During the holiday season, there’s no better time to indulge your taste buds than with a Candy Cane White Hot CBD Chocolate. This creamy, delicious, and sinfully sweet drink is the perfect recipe to stay warm and cozy with during this festive time of year.


Since this recipe is milk-based, it’s easy to combine with CBD and CBDa because phytocannabinoids are naturally drawn to fats and bind with fat-based solutions more efficiently than other liquid ingredients. However, since this drink is served warm, be careful not to overheat the cannabidiol to best preserve its efficacy. To infuse, simply add Care By Design Hemp “Balance” Sublingual Drops into the saucepan after combining the warmed milk and other ingredients with the melted white chocolate, then whisk away!

Candy Cane White Hot CBD Chocolate


Servings: 1 drink


Target Dose: 12 mg blend of CBD and CBDa per drink (using .50 ml Care By Design Hemp “Balance” Sublingual Drops) or your preferred dose


Equipment:

Butter warmer

Measuring cups

Small saucepan

Rubber spatula

Whisk

Mug of your choice


Ingredients:

¼ cup white chocolate chips

1 cup milk (I prefer 2% dairy milk with this recipe)

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract

Pinch of salt

Garish with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane pieces


Directions:

Begin by heating the white chocolate chips in a small saucepan. Keep the temperature on low heat, continuously stirring until the chocolate pieces melt completely and no lumps remain. Turn the heat to medium, then slowly stir in the milk, vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue to stir the blend until it reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit (or slightly simmering, but do not boil!). Make sure to scrape the sides of the saucepan with a rubber spatula to best combine the melted white chocolate with the liquid ingredients, then use a whisk to blend until it combines. The white hot chocolate milk should look smooth and creamy! Once blended together well, remove from heat and add the Care By Design Hemp “Balance” Sublingual Drops. Whisk to blend, then pour the liquid into a mug of your choice. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, then top the drink with a sprinkle of crushed candy cane pieces. Serve warm, and enjoy.
