Quench Your Thirst With A Blackberry CBD Mojito


If you're in the mood for a refreshing drink, look no further than my mouthwatering Blackberry CBD Mojito infused with Red Belly Honey! Bursting with bright citrus notes followed by a melody of mint, blackberry, and honey flavors, this easy-to-make rum drink will delight the palate with its complex aroma and flavor profile.

When mixing drinks, I am a big fan of using honey as the sweetener, especially Red Belly Honey! For this Mojito, it adds some lovely botanical notes as well as provides a rich mouthfeel that blends all of the ingredients together. One really cool fact about this honey! It’s infused by bees, not by humans to create a delicious and enhanced nectar blend. And, thanks to these same bees, this special honey is also water-soluble, making it the perfect infused ingredient to mix into a drink.

Finally, to make this recipe really pop, make sure to add some fresh-cut cannabis leaves into the glass before you muddle the mint for a boost of botanicals. Keep reading on for the recipe. Cheers!

 

Blackberry CBD Mojito

Infused With Red Belly Honey


Yield: 1 drink


Equipment:

Rocks Glass

Bar spoon

Muddler


Ingredients:

¾ ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice

1 tablespoon Red Belly Honey

3 small fresh-cut hemp leaves

6 fresh mint leaves

2 lime wedges

¼ cup fresh blackberries

Cracked ice

¾ ounce white rum

Club soda

Dash of Angostura aromatic bitters

Mint sprig, hemp leaves, and seasonal flowers for garnish


Directions:

In a rocks glass, add the lime juice and honey. Using a bar spoon, vigorously stir the ingredients together until the honey fully dissolves into the lime juice. Smack the hemp and mint leaves, then add them to the glass along with the lime wedges and blackberries. Using a muddler, gently muddle the ingredients to release the hemp/mint oils and blackberry juices (be careful not to tear the hemp and mint leaves or over muddle!). Fill the glass to the top with cracked ice, then add the rum. Top with club soda and a dash of Angostura bitters. Stir well with a bar spoon. Garnish with a mint sprig, hemp leaves, and edible flowers before serving. Enjoy!
