Refresh Your Taste Buds With A Zero-Proof Spiced Apple CBD Margarita This Autumn
When you’re in the mood for a refreshing fall canna-cocktail, look no further than a zero proof Spiced Apple CBD Margarita! This delicious infused drink will satisfy your taste buds as seasonal apple cider and a blend of citrus play on your palate.
You can skip the tequila when it comes to this margarita. Instead of alcohol, I recommend enhancing the drink with a balanced blend of CBD and THC. Care By Design CBD-Rich 1:1 Sublingual Drops are a perfect option, providing a healing blend of phytocannabinoids and terpenes. Keep in mind cannabis-infused products that contain an equal ratio of CBD to THC are an excellent option for those looking for some euphoric effects, yet still remain grounded. For a sessionable drink experience, I recommend infusing this drink with a low dose so you can have more than one. But if you’re someone who requires a stronger serving, feel free to adjust the dosage to accommodate your needs.
Depending on what spiced apple cider you use to craft this recipe, pay close attention to the sugar level. If the spiced cider seems overly sweet on your palate, you can simply skip the cinnamon-allspice infused simple syrup for a more tart flavor. Before you shake the drink with ice, make sure to taste the blend with a bar spoon and adjust to your liking. To mix the Care By Design CBD-Rich 1:1 Sublingual Drops into the drink, simply add the oil drops to the shaker tin before shaking to emulsify the oil into the drink. For best results, shake for at least 15 seconds or until very cold. The cannabis drops will integrate into the drink seamlessly!

Target Dose: 4 mg CBD | 4 mg THC per drink or your preferred dose (using Care By Design CBD-Rich 1:1 Sublingual Drops)
Cinnamon Sugar Salt Rim
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Spiced Apple CBD Margarita
5 ounces spiced apple cider
1 ½ ounces fresh-squeezed lime juice
½ ounce fresh-squeezed lemon juice
½ ounce cinnamon-allspice simple syrup
¼ dropperful (.25 ML) Care By Design CBD-Rich 1:1 Sublingual Drops (or your preferred dose)

Combine the sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a shallow saucer. Mix well using a spoon. Next, rim an old fashioned glass with a lime wedge and then dip the top of the glass into the cinnamon sugar salt blend to create a salted rim. Set the glass aside as you prepare the drink.
Add the spiced apple cider, lime juice, lemon juice, cinnamon-allspice simple syrup, and Care By Design CBD-Rich 1:1 Sublingual Drops in the bottom of a shaker tin. Add ice, then shake for 15 seconds or until very cold. Carefully strain the liquid over the prepared old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel, apple slice, star of anise, and a cinnamon stick before serving. Enjoy!
How To Make Cinnamon-Allspice Simple Syrup
Yield: about 12 ounces
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
½ teaspoon whole allspice
Bring one cup of water to a boil in a saucepan of your choice. Add the sugar, then stir until it dissolves completely. Add the cinnamon and allspice, then cover the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Leave the cinnamon and allspice in the simple syrup to infuse for 45 minutes, or to taste. Allow the syrup to cool completely. Remove the solids, then store in the refrigerator until further use.
